Who owns what

  • Our Local Collective Provides the software, calculators, and payment rails. We are not the general contractor of record on your project.
  • The contractor Owns the customer relationship, scope, schedule, and construction risk. Customers see the contractor’s company name on estimates.
  • Payments Card payments run through Stripe Connect when a contractor enables them. Processor fees apply; OLC does not invent fake “software rent” on top of the core OS.
  • Your data Contractors control their workspace customers and estimates. See Privacy for how site data is handled.
